Gary Barlow wants to be the next Simon Cowell. The Take That star spends most of his spare time scouting for new talent and hopes he can guide them to success in the same way the music mogul has launched careers for his acts - including Leona Lewis and Kelly Clarkson, who Simon discovered on TV talent shows.

Gary said: "I am at a lot of shows. I go mainly to small bars. I don't wear a disguise but I'm at the back keeping it low-key. It's mostly in London but now and again I'm in Manchester."

Joe Jonas is inspired by Sir Mick Jagger. The 19-year-old Jonas Brothers frontman - who wears a purity ring as a sign of his pre-marriage chastity - says the womanizing Rolling Stones singer is his musical hero and he tries to act like him on stage.

Joe said: "I would love to meet Mick Jagger. A lot of what I do on stage is inspired by Jagger. I love the way he performs and how he dances."

Leona Lewis has been spotted hugging "Transformers" actor Tyrese Gibson.

The British singer, who has a long-term boyfriend, was seen deep in conversation with Tyrese on the balcony of her California hotel. She then gave him a friendly embrace before heading to the airport to return home.

Leona Lewis is in talks to perform at Barack Obama's inauguration ceremony. The British singer is set to sing at the ceremony ushering in the new U.S. President in Washington DC on January 20 next year.

A source close to Leona told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Various inquiries have been made to Leona's people about her availability on January 20."
