Even the best of actors have a memory lapse from time to time.

Morgan Freeman was recently stunned when Jay Leno dug up a long-lost TV commercial the actor had starred in a long time ago. The Oscar-winning actor had completely forgotten about the black and white mouthwash ad, which featured him as a telephone repair engineer.

Morgan was being interviewed on "The Tonight Show" when Leno surprised him with the video. But before Leno ran the clip, the movie narrator insisted he had never made the Listerine commercial. Then suddenly realized he was wrong.

He told Leno, "I've forgotten all about that. Okay, so I did a Listerine commercial?"
