Much like Paris Hilton, LeAnn Rimes has achieved great success throughout the years. However, unlike the ditzy blonde, the country star has been recognized for her many talents. Nonetheless, LeAnn says she can relate to Paris because she knows how tough it can get in showbiz and so she sympathizes with her to a certain extent.
The singer says stardom is a "horrible thing to deal with," especially when you have the paparazzi following you every minute of every day. However, she does admit she's been fascinated by the media coverage of both Paris and Lindsay.
GAC TV quotes her as saying, "It's definitely tough to watch. I've been glued to the TV like everyone else has watching this whole thing and it just amazes me.
"It amazes me we that we care so much. It kind of glorifies it way too much for me. But, as a normal human being you're kind of just obsessed with it. It's so strange; it's that weird, weird world."
Part of what worries LeAnn about this "weird world" we live in is that she won't have good role models for her kids someday.
She said, "I also wish we had better role models. It's just mind blowing. I worry about having children of my own and watching this. Who are their role models gonna (sic) be one day? It just keeps getting worse and worse."
