Soul singer and songwriter Al Wilson has died. Wilson, who had a number of hits in the '70s including "Show and Tell," was 68.

According to the Associated Press, Wilson's son, Tony Wilson of Yucaipa, said his father died Monday of kidney failure at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Fontana. "He was always singing. He would call me in the middle of the night with a new song that he had written."
