Anna Nicole Smith's one-time boyfriend has bought her lingerie at an auction for their daughter's keepsake.
Larry Birkhead says he wants the former couple's 1-year-old daughter Dannielynn to see the lingerie her mom wore once.
Birkhead wants to make sure Dannielynn has something to remember the late bombshell by.
He bought a pink bustier for $1,800 and white negligee for $1,000 at a celebrity auction at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday.
He is quoted by eonline.com as saying, "You know, it's not something I can show today, but something down the road. It's not going to be in any bedtime stories anytime soon."
Other items that went under the hammer at the event include Marilyn Monroe's candid footage on the set of her last film, which amounted to $60,000, and an original "King Kong" French film poster that fetched $40,625.
Smith died in February last year of accidental prescription drugs overdose.
