Dannielynn Birkhead, as she is now known, will be traveling with her father Larry to the U.S.
The seven month old baby, who has been living with Howard K. Stern in the Bahamas, will now be settling into life with a single dad.
Larry has recently been officially named the biological father of Dannielynn after months of painstaking battles over the paternity.
At one point, five men claimed to be possible fathers to the child. However, the official custody hearing is still pending and Larry is permitted to return to U.S. mainland on the condition that he returns with the child for the June 8 hearing.
Dannielynn's maternal grandmother, Virgie Arthur, the mother of the late Anna Nicole Smith, is still trying to make matters difficult by requesting that Larry cannot leave the Bahamas with Dannielynn.
Virgie has long maintained that she would like custody of her granddaughter.
Speaking outside a Bahamas court, Larry was undeterred by Virgie's request. He said, "I guess all I can say really is that it was a good day for me in court."
