Actor Lane Garrison isn't on the hit show "Prison Break" anymore, but instead is doing the real thing and spending time in prison. Garrison is serving a 40-month sentence after pleading guilty to vehicular manslaughter without gross negligence and two other alcohol related charges.

Garrison was involved in a 2006 car accident that killed a 17-year-old Beverly Hills High School student, Vahagn Setian, and left a 15-year-old girl injured. He is serving time at the Golden State Modified Community Correctional Facility in MacFarland, California.

When he is released from prison he will devote part of his time to meeting with young people to warn them of the perils of drinking and driving, his lawyer said.

Defense attorney Harland Braun said, "He will never forget what happened and he will have to learn to the live with guilt. When he gets out, he will talk to teenagers as a volunteer."
