While Jessica Simpson is still having a hard time finding a good, cute guy she likes, Nick Lachey is already thinking about walking down the aisle again - but not to his former "stinky butt."
Hunky Nick has reported called his ex-wife Jessica Simpson to tell her he is getting married again.
The singer is planning to marry new girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo and wanted to break the news to his ex-wife himself. He spent 40 minutes on the phone explaining his intentions.
According to the National Ledger website, Nick told Jessica, "I'm getting married again Jess and I wanted you to hear it from me."
The former 98 Degrees singer is allegedly hoping to be married by the end of the year, but time is running out so he better act now.
Despite being the first to file for divorce, Jessica reacted badly to the news.
A source said, "She knew Nick and Vanessa were serious, but this threw her. She did her best to contain her emotions."
The "Dukes of Hazzard" actress has been linked to pop singer John Mayer since her divorce - which was finalized this year - but recently denied the rumors insisting she is single.

I never quite understood the logic of letting the ex know that you are getting married again. Unless it is to brag or something like there was race occurring.

Just because you couldn't get along being married, doesn't mean you still can't be friends, or for that matter, best friends.afterall, you shared everything with this person at one time. I think it was considerate and respectful of Jessica's feelings on Nick's part.

Theres just some people, you will always have feelings for. I think Nick will always love Jessica as a person, and he wanted to be respectful and tell her himself. Especially since the media can be so brutal, and Jessica is very sensitive. Nick is just trying to be happy again, and we should all be happy for him. Jessica has yet to find a better Nick. maybe she isn't supposed to meet THE ONE for her, for awhile. We'll see what happens!!

Both Jessica and her sister are a couple of spoiled brats anyway. No big surprise she didn't take the news well.
Personally I think everyone in Hollywood come from two different groups those trying to get attention and the has beens that no one cares about.

i personally think that it was very thoughtfull for nick to call jessica himself and break the news. as much as i wish they stayed together im glad they are attempting to be friends. jessica also has a right to be upset because afterall im sure she still has feelings for him.

(same person).if jessica or nick ever reads this i just want you both to know that you shouldnt care what people think about you esspecially you jessica. everybody is entitled to their own opinion and they cant call you stupid or spoiled because they dont know you. the only opinion they have is what writers tell them believe in magazines. when your a celebrity every mistake you make is put on to national tv and little mistakes normal people make are magnified when you guys make them. its just not fair. im not saying to get back together but nick- i think if you waited a little longer to get married that would be the right thing to do. but like i said everybody is entitled to their own opinion.

Marriage is forever. Nick should be grateful that Jessica saved herself for him, which I cannot say for Vanessa. I do not know any of the three personally so I cannot judge. But society makes marriage look like a joke. People say and do things in marriage that are not right nor fair that's why the vows are "for better or for worst." Marriage is not easy and I do not believe Nick is seriously considering the consequences of his actions by thinking "he's in love" with Vanessa after such a short courting. Jessica is right to feel the way she does. Marriage is forever and I believe if Nick makes the decision to marry again, it should be with Jessica. Otherwise I believe he will regret his decision. Many men marry a second time, but many men wish things would have worked out with their first wives if they would have stayed and put forth the effort. No one can see the sun when it's raining all the time. That's why there's hope and prayer. God's will be done.

Why is everyone being so mean to Jessica? She's just trying to live her life to the fullest. While I was a huge fan of them being together I just want them to be happy. But I do think Nick is remarrying a little too soon. That photo of Jess was probably takin months ago or computer generated.We love u Jess and are ruttin for u 100% Live in a good way, both of u!

Jess had this coming. She didnt want to be married anymore becasue she thought it would up her celeberty and no she realizes that she lost the one man that really loved her. We'll im glad for Nick and he seems to be on the right track by not letting the media get to him in this relashonship like Jess has been doing the whole time. She souldn't be mad. Did she think he would really just wait for her to grow up?

I always thought they were gonna last n 4 some reason I still do!!But Nick n Jessica are adults n is their life. No one really knows what happened. You can't believe everything the media says. All I can do is advice them if they ever read this to think before making any choices. Once you get married that is what you have to live with for the rest of your life!! LIFE IS SHORT!!
