Alexander Dahm's pregnant wife begged him to end his vacation with Kylie Minogue.
Laura Dahm, who is seven months pregnant with Alexander's second child, initially laughed off rumors of an affair between her husband and Kylie but now admits she is worried.
Laura said: "This week has been the worst of my life. I have been crying and constantly on the phone to my husband begging him to come home since he is being accused of sleeping with one of the world's biggest stars. He has begged me to believe that there is nothing between him and Kylie and I have no choice but to believe him."
The pair were seen in the exclusive Chilean resort Vina del Mar last week.
Kylie is not the first celebrity the film director has been linked with. He had a seven-year relationship with Mexican TV writer Rosa Salazar Arenas, before he met and married Laura. Alexander also dated Venezuelan star Maria Conchita Alonso for a year and the "Running Man" actress was said to be smitten.
A source said: "When he was seeing Maria he couldn't stop bragging about how he was hanging out with a famous woman. Now he is friends with Kylie it is the same thing."
Kylie has denied rumors of an affair, saying: "I have never been unfaithful to a partner and I would find it completely immoral to be involved with a married man."
Alexander is still in Chile, while Kylie has flown to the U.S. to work on her new album.
The 38-year-old singer was seen in New York with a mystery man on Sunday.
