Kim Cattrall is lashing out reports that she and her "Sex and the City" co-stars don't get along on the set, but admits she doesn't want to spend her time off the set with them.
The actress has been quoted by marieclaire.co.uk as saying, "Do you get along with your colleagues all the time? If you're spending 18 hours a day at work, the last thing you want to do is go and have a drink with the people who you just spend the day with. You just need to get away."
Cattrall, 51, also defended her action of why she asked for a bigger paycheck in the upcoming movie of the hit HBO TV show. She admitted she complained about the difference in wages between the show's main star Sarah Jessica Parker and the rest of the girls, but she insisted she deserves a better offer, as co-stars Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon also do.
She said, "I never expected to be paid what Sarah was being paid. But I felt that the offer was not worthy of what the three of us had contributed. And I spoke up about it. I feel like I stuck my neck out. I fought. I don't ever want to be on a set where I feel undervalued."
The sultry actress plays publicist Samantha Jones in the TV series and now in the movie. "Sex and the Movie: The Movie" is scheduled to be released on May 30.
