One week Nicole Kidman is pole dancing on a yacht in the Caribbean and the next month she is rounding up cattle.
Such is the life of an Oscar winning actress, except the cruise is part of her real life.
The newly married star had gossips into overdrive when she went on a vacation around St. Barth's without her husband, Keith Urban.
Considering the couple only married in June and he has spent just under half the time they have been married in rehab, many wondered if it was a sign that Australia's favorite couple were on the rocks. However, the country singer has since joined his wife, and they have been pictured lovey dovey and happy onboard a luxury boat.
It's a far cry from Kidman's upcoming film role, where she will be playing a farm girl in Australia during the days of settlement.
"The Hours" star has been practicing for the Baz Luhrmann-directed epic, which will pair her with another star from Down Under, Hugh Jackman.
To authentically play a farmer, Kidman has learned how to round cattle and castrate a bull.
She told Britain's Daily Mail newspaper, "I don't know if I'll have to do that, but it's best to be prepared."
Even Kidman can see the vast differences in her life.
The Nashville-based actress said, "In seven weeks I'll be riding a horse and chasing young bulls."
