The Los Angeles Times reported that actress Nicole Kidman and country rocker Keith Urban have purchased a $7 million dollar home in the posh Brentwood area of Los Angeles. The purchase comes after speculation that the couple would raise their first child in Australia. The contemporary style house was built on a cul-de-sac in 1964 and boasts five bedrooms, 4 ˝ bathrooms, lavish lawns, koi ponds, numerous walls of glass and a view of the Los Angeles skyline.
The couple married in June of 2006 and will be expecting their first child in July. They have been expanding their real estate portfolio and recently purchased a house in Memphis, Tennessee in March for $3.5 million.
She also has two adopted children with Cruise, Connor, 13, and Isabella, 15. Kidman formerly lived in the area with her ex-husband Tom Cruise, but the home was sold four years ago after her divorce from Cruise was finalized.
