Kevin Federline says he wants Britney Spears back in their sons' lives.

When lawyers for the ex-couple arrived at the L.A. Superior Court for a hearing in their custody battle, there was still no change regarding Spears' lack of visitation rights, but Federline's sentiments have changed. His attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, tells the press that Federline wants Spears back in Jayden James and Sean Preston's lives.

"Both sides want to see the day that visitation can resume. It is a question of working out details on how that can happen. Mr. Federline looks forward to his children having their mom in their life," Kaplan says.

The lawyer adds that Federline is "doing great at being a parent."

It's been seven weeks since the pop star had seen her children. TMZ.com reports that Federline would approve of Spears' visitation with the boys if her parents were also present.
