Kelsey Grammer says his sex and drug addictions almost killed him.

The 'Frasier' star - who was addicted to cocaine, ecstasy, valium and alcohol - is quoted by Britain's Daily Express newspaper as saying: "I was addicted to danger and dangerous girls, and it took me to things that were very destructive for me. I liked the addictions but I got in too deep."

Scarlett Johansson has reportedly splashed out $800,000 on a "gigantic" new home. The 22-year-old actress bought the seven-bedroom Los Angeles property located in the Hollywood Hills from film director Harold Becker.

A source said: "It's a gigantic property with seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The place spans over 4,352sq ft."

"Frasier" Cast Member Dies At The Old Age Of 16

Four-legged "Frasier" star Eddie has died. The Jack Russell - whose real name was Moose - played Kelsey Grammer's sidekick on the show for 10 years. His trainer, Mathilde Halberg, told People magazine: "He was 16-and-a-half years old, and he just had an incredible charisma and was such a free spirit."

She added: "I saved him from the dog pound. His owners called me as a last resort. He was extremely mischievous, always escaping, chewing up things and running off. Once he killed a neighbour's cat and chased some horses, that was him."
