Country superstar Keith Urban will have his first gig as a new father Saturday night when he plays a stadium show in Philadelphia. And he can't wait.
Urban, who just became a father for the first time, says life with wife Nicole Kidman and their 10-day-old baby Sunday Rose is going great.
Urban has written a message to his fans on his website, talking about the new joys of fatherhood.
"Like any of you who are parents yourselves, we're experiencing the pure bliss of welcoming her into our lives," Urban, 40, said Thursday on his website. "We're all doing superbly well and we continue to be absolutely overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and well wishes we are receiving."
He also thanked his fans for "your beautiful notes and prayers" and said he "can't wait" for Saturday night's stadium show in Philadelphia which will be - "My first gig as a father!"
