Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman called their daughter Sunday to celebrate family life. The country music star and his actress wife - who gave birth to Sunday Rose last July - chose the unusual name because they "dreaded" Sundays before they married in 2006.

Keith told U.S. talk show host Ellen DeGeneres: "Particularly when you don't have someone in your life, in my experience, Sunday was the loneliest day. Everyone goes with their families and if you don't have a family, you don't have anybody.

Nicole Kidman was "touched" when her husband Keith Urban wrote a song for her. The 41-year-old musician and his writing partner Rick Nowels penned the heartfelt track 'Thank You' - which includes the lyrics 'I thank God for grace and mercy, and that you became my wife' - and revealed Nicole was thrilled when she first heard it.

Keith said: "Rick's music pulled this story out of me, which became quite a confessional - much more intimate than I might have written had I intended to write about her. It was very instinctual and very much from the heart.

Nicole Kidman was "impressed" by her husband Keith Urban's steamy Playgirl shoot. Music star Keith posed for the adult magazine eight years ago, but Nicole only saw the revealing photographs recently.

He told Britain's New! magazine: "Nicole was impressed with the shots. It was spread over two pages and had staples in all the right places!"

Nicole Kidman's daughter has a crush on Naomi Watts' son. Naomi and her partner Liev Schreiber claim 18-month-old Sasha already has several celebrity admirers, including Nicole and Keith Urban's six-month-old daughter Sunday Rose and Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher's daughter Olive, who is 15 months.

The "Defiance" actor joked: "Sunday Rose is after our boy really heavy and I think it's kind of weird and early, and I think she should back off, slow down and get her act together before that all happens. And Olive's been after our baby for a while too."

Nicole Kidman isn't "proud" of her performance in "Australia." The 41-year-old actress has revealed she "squirmed" in her seat throughout the Sydney premiere because she was so uncomfortable watching herself on screen.

She said: "I can't look at this movie and be proud of what I've done. I sat there, and I looked at Keith and went, 'Am I any good in this movie?' But I thought Brandon Walters and Hugh Jackman were wonderful. It's just impossible for me to connect to it emotionally at all."

Sunday Rose, the five month old daughter of Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman, celebrated her first Christmas in Nashville with her mom and dad. The power couple, and their new baby, split their time in Nashville between two homes, one in town and one in the country.

Kidman recently told People magazine that baby Sunday Rose would get "a lot of hugs and kisses and Christmas carols" plus one turtle puppet for the holidays. "She loves puppets," Kidman said.
