Keith Urban is "over the moon" about wife Nicole Kidman's pregnancy. The country singer - who, along with Nicole, announced the happy news last month - still can't believe he is going to be a father.
He said: "Over the moon is literally how I feel - I'm very, very grateful! Performing in general has taken on a whole new feeling for me, certainly in light of fatherhood and so on."
Keith also revealed he is planning on writing a song to dedicate to his first child when Nicole gives birth in July, adding: "It has been a really beautiful journey."
Before returning to Australia from the U.S., Keith is hoping to work on his upcoming studio album, which is set to include a duet with Nelly Furtado. He told Australia's Herald Sun newspaper: "I'm going to be doing quite a bit more songwriting and bringing some people down to Sydney to work with me. I'll also be doing some more work in Nashville and in Los Angeles."
"It was a blast getting to sing on a track with Nelly too - it's a great song and I hope it pans out."
