Katy Perry has bought a "swine flu" ring. The "I Kissed A Girl" singer bought the jewelry - adorned with a flying pig emblem - following the outbreak of the potentially-fatal disease which originated in Mexico.

She wrote on her blog: "Since swine flu is super trendy I wanted to make sure I was in style with my swine flu ring!"

Katy Perry says Lily Allen "looks hot." The two singers became embroiled in a war of words after the U.S. star described herself as a "slimmer version of Lily Allen" but the "Hot N Cold" star insists she never meant to cause offense.

Katy told Heat magazine: "I really didn't mean to upset her. What I actually said was that I was a skinnier version of Lily Allen and a fatter version of Amy Winehouse. But Lily is skinny now. She is hot - she looks really good."
