Katie Holmes completed the New York Marathon in five hours, 29 minutes and 58 seconds yesterday afternoon.

The "Batman Begins" star was cheered on by her parents, husband Tom Cruise and 18-month-old daughter Suri.

Katie, 28, said, "It was great. I'm a little tired, it was very challenging, but it was worth it."

Proud husband Tom, 45, caught up with Katie as she entered the final stretch to the finish line in Central Park, to give her a kiss to spur her on.

He said, "She was impressive. She trained just a little over two months. It's impressive, it was so much fun today. Suri loved it. She's a runner too."

The "Top Gun" star enjoyed chasing Suri around the marquee set up for waiting supporters at the finish line.

Katie, whose number was F127, wore a Fire Department of New York baseball cap and purple vest to run the staggering 26.2 miles.
