Katie Price has splashed out $6,500 on lavish gifts for her new man. The glamour model - who is reportedly dating cage fighter Alex Reid following her split from husband Peter Andre in May - apparently treated the hunk to a diamond Chanel watch and a signed photograph of herself for his 34th birthday on Tuesday.

The hard man received the surprise gifts at his home in Aldershot and she penned a heartfelt message on the framed picture.

Katie Price is having counseling to deal with her marriage breakdown. The British glamour model, whose husband Peter Andre walked out on her in May, sought help to cope with the separation when she returned from a wild trip to the party island of Ibiza last month.

A source said: "Katie needed some guidance after she split from Peter. She doesn't really have a close circle of girlfriends to turn to, especially any that weren't friends with Peter as well, so therapy seemed the perfect option."

The glamour model spent part of the weekend with muscle bound hunk Alex Reid - known as 'The Detonator'- and even let him borrow some of Peter's clothes after he stayed over at her house.

Australian singer Peter Andre made his comeback to the stage at the T4 On The Beach festival in Somerset. He then quickly fell off of it.

Andre was performing his new single "Behind Closed Doors" when he slipped off the stage and into a crowd of fans. He landed on his feet however and continued singing.
