Somebody is hoping to go all the way for her wedding night - pun intended - and she's gotten a little help from her friends in the lingerie department too.
Katie Holmes has reportedly dished out over $3,000 on sexy underwear for her first night as Tom Cruise's wife.
The brunette actress visited La Bra Lingerie, in West Hollywood, to buy a selection of racy lingerie for her soon-to-be husband - who she is set to marry on November 18 - and dishing out $1,000 on a special "bridal collection" set.
According to the MSNBC website, a source said, "They weren't all white - and they certainly weren't virginal. But she's a mother, so I guess that's appropriate."
The 27-year-old actress' purchases included the Chantilly lace bridal collection with a bra that cost $440, a $340 thong, a garter belt for $220, and silk stockings that cost $95 - for a total of $1,190.
Katie also chose a silk nightgown with a matching robe trimmed with ostrich feathers that set her back $620, a lace bra with Swarovski crystals for $380 and matching thong with crystals for $175, as well as two sets of silk pajamas and matching robes for $425 each.
Meanwhile, Tom arrived in Rome on Monday with a ten-strong entourage in preparation for the wedding this upcoming weekend.
The cutie-patootie-turned controversial actor was spotted arriving in a private jet at the Ciampino Airport outside Rome at 11:30 a.m. local time and was then driven to his hotel
under police escort.
It has been reported, that since the 44-year-old is a Scientologist and Katie was raised as a Catholic, they will have two marriage ceremonies.
But the "Mission: Impossible" star's plans have run into trouble since he is a divorcee, and the Catholic church would not permit him to remarry in a Catholic ceremony.
Tom's representative, Arnold Robinson, insists, "All of the proper and necessary arrangements are being made."
