Kathy Hilton is selling her celebrity friends' things on eBay. The mother of famous daughters Paris and Nicky has collected various celebrities' personal belongings and set them up on the online auction site to benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation.
"Christmas is my favorite time of year. I worked with Make-A-Wish before and I wanted to do something really special for Christmas," Hilton says.
The socialite says she turned her bedroom into an office to call "different celebrities and sports figures and just seeing what I could get" for a week straight.
Some of the items she collected include Mel Gibson's jeans, Johnny Carson's cuff links, Dean Martin's golf club, Lucille Ball's teacup and saucer, an Ocean Thirteen script signed by the film's cast, and Tom Cruise's autographed Ray-Ban shades.
"I love the Tom Cruise sunglasses. I would love to have any one of these things.
"Hopefully this goes well and I'll make it an annual thing," Hilton says. Although she admits she won't be able to check out the items herself online. "I don't know how to use the computer."
The auction ends on Wednesday.
