Kate Moss Talks About Her "Mini-Me"

Kate Moss has talked to the press for the first time in 18 years.

The iconic model has been content with rumors and gossip about her life for most of her career, however she has given some uncharacteristic insight into her life as a mother in a new interview with British Vogue magazine.

Moss, who is in a heavily reported relationship with musician Pete Doherty, dedicated a large portion of the interview to her daughter, Lila Grace.

The supermodel revealed that her daughter with magazine publisher Jefferson Hack is her own "mini-me."

Of giving birth to Lila, Moss said, "I felt like, now I've got a partner in crime. I'm never going to have to be on my own again."

Although Moss is usually regarded as a hard partying style setter, she contradicts the image by revealing that she reads Lila a bedtime story every night.

She said, "'Course, absolutely every night."

Moss continued, "She's a Mini-Me. I think she looks like her dad, but there are some bits of me. Pete said the other day, 'Jefferson really looks like you, I'm thinking of asking him out.'"

One thing the stylish youngster has inherited is her mother's flair for fashion. But while Moss seems to throw her looks together effortlessly, Lila takes some time planning.

Moss revealed, "She comes in at bedtime and says, 'Mommy, do you think this is a good look?' and then she has a fashion crisis. I say, 'You will wear what I tell you,' but she says she's the adult of the bedroom. Now we lay the clothes out before she goes to bed but then she goes, 'Mom, I need options.'"

The budding fashionista has one advantage over other girls in the playground - her downtime is spent around fashion elite, usually on exotic shoots.

Moss said, "When we were doing Versace [the recent ad campaign], we all had kids and they came along, like Christy [Turlington]'s little baby and Carolyn [Murphy]'s little boy, and Lila and Donatella struck up a friendship. They put a weave in her hair and she had this long blonde hair down to her waist."

Showing there are still some things that shock her, Moss was rather mortified watching her daughter play with one of the most powerful women in fashion. She said, "I was like, oh...my... god."
