The stunning star - who is seen taking drugs with on/off lover Pete Doherty in the shocking images - will find out the results of the police investigation next year after officers have consulted with the Crown Prosecution Service.
Kate lost several lucrative contracts, including Chanel, H & M and Burberry, after the images were printed earlier this year.
The catwalk queen, who was dubbed "Cocaine Kate" in the wake of the scandal, later checked into a US rehab center.
