Britain's Prince William has begged ex-girlfriend Kate Middleton to take him back. The prince is said to have had a secret liaison with the fashion buyer at Clarence House in which he poured out his heart and told her he regretted ending their relationship in March.

But Kate, 25, has allegedly refused to rekindle their romance saying she was "too badly hurt" by the split.

British newspapers were in a frenzy over the weekend, reporting that the second in line to the throne Prince William and his former girlfriend were reuniting.

The English soul singer was rumored to be the latest object of Prince William's affection, however before she has had time to get used to the idea of 'Princess Joss,' her reps have denied any possible romance.
