For the New Year, Kate Hudson reportedly wants things her way or things are going to get pretty difficult if you're her soon-to-be ex-husband.
Friends have claimed that Kate has turned into a "tyrant" since allegedly being dumped by Owen Wilson.
Close pals say the actress has been unbearable following the break-down of her romance with her "You, Me and Dupree" co-star - a relationship she has never admitted to - and she has even started taking things out on her estranged husband Chris Robinson.
A friend of Kate's told the New York Daily News newspaper, "Since Owen kicked her to the curb, she has turned into a tyrant to everybody in sight. And she just backed off on her offer to buy Chris a house in Malibu."
Kate also apparently refused to budge when it came to making arrangements for Chris to see their son Ryder, who is with her in Australia where she is shooting "Fool's Gold," on his third birthday on Sunday.
The pal added, "She's filming in Australia and she told Chris if he wanted to be with Ryder on his birthday, he had to go down there."
However, Kate's lawyer has dismissed the story, saying, "Your source is not credible, as the reported allegations are all untrue. All matters involving Ms. Hudson's and Chris Robinson's separation and custody matters are private matters upon which we will not comment other than to report that they have all been mutually and amicably agreed upon."
