Kate Beckinsale has a "family with two dads." The actress, who is married to director Len Wiseman, says her nine-year-old daughter Lily - her child with former boyfriend Michael Sheen - is comfortable with their unconventional arrangements and describes it as "a modern dream come true."

She explained: "We're a family with two dads. Somehow it all works out. Lily walks around the house going, 'Daddy!' and several people say, 'Yes?' It's kind of funny. 'No, not you, the other one!'"

Kate Beckinsale wanted to ban her daughter from auditioning for a movie in case she was "a disaster." Producers on "Everybody's Fine" needed a young actress to portray Kate's character as her younger self and asked if Lily, then eight, would try out.

Kate feared Lily might be upset if she didn't get the part, but the youngster managed to change her mother's mind.

Kate Beckinsale could "handle herself" in prison. The 35-year-old actress - who has played an inmate in many of her films - thinks she would have no trouble coping in jail.

She said: "It's weird because I do feel like I have done more of my fair share of time. I did the prison thing in 'Brokedown Palace,' I've done the Philippines prison."

Diddy is terrified of toes. The U.S. music mogul appeared alongside British actress Kate Beckinsale on U.S. talk show "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Tuesday, but refused to look at her legs in case he accidentally caught sight of her feet.

Host Jay quickly picked up on Diddy's phobia, prompting the 39-year-old rapper to explain: "I have this foot thing. I really fear a long second toe."
