Kanye West and 50 Cent are going to put their bling where their mouth is.
The two rappers are about to go to war on the charts when they both release their albums on the same day, September 11.
After weeks of both claiming that they will go to number one, West has challenged his rival to a presidential-style debate on live TV. During an appearance on BET's 106 and Park Countdown show, 50 accepted the offer.
The "Get Rich Or Die Tryin'" star said, "I accept the challenge. Kanye, he's not going to want to show up. Just don't be asking me if I am a conscious rapper. I know exactly what I am saying - so I am conscious."
If West follows through with the offer, the pair will meet back on the show to debate about the possible success of their new music.
A point almost certain to be made include Fiddy's "The Massacre" album selling over one million copies in its first week of release compared to 860,000 by West's "Late Registration."
50 Cent's new album is titled "Curtis" - his birth name - while West is releasing "Graduation."
