Now that Britney is sober and back in the real world, it is Kevin Federline's turn to start partying. However, the former wild boy had a reason for his all night celebrations - his 29th birthday, which he celebrated in Las Vegas with his nearest and dearest, including Shar Jackson.
Federline and his ex-girlfriend, who he has two children with, enjoyed the festivities from the VIP section at Caesar's Palace's Pure Nightclub.
The father-of-four, who has laid low since becoming a bachelor once again, spent the evening sipping Jack Daniels and talking on his phone.
A source told PEOPLE, "He was talking on the phone and texting the whole time."
With his ex-wife back in L.A., settling in to her new life, the Federline clan re-welcomed Jackson.
An insider reports, "As soon as his parents got to the club they immediately went to Shar's table on the other side of the club and hung out there for a while. They were taking photos with her and catching up. It's pretty easy to see that they still care about her."
The aspiring rapper did not get up to any bad behavior on the night, instead having innocent fun with his 14 guests.
He told the crowd, "My entire family came out for my birthday. My brothers are here, my mother, my father, my sister and even my ex Shar Jackson came out for this."
One witness said that the doting dad, "was clearly having a good time, hanging with his group and singing along to most of the music."
