Justin Timberlake has been convinced to meet Britney Spears again after their abrupt breakup in 2002.
The "SexyBack" singer finally agrees to see the troubled pop star after he was convinced by her father Jamie. Dad Spears reportedly reached out to the 27-year-old singer hoping that their reunion will help his daughter in her recovery.
Jamie had allegedly set up a meeting between Britney and Justin at a low-key summer barbeque.
The source tells Life & Style magazine, "Jamie reached out to Justin and asked if he'd be willing to come over to Britney's house to talk to her face-to-face, and Justin said yes."
"Jamie's hoping that by finally seeing him, she'll be able to get some real closure, some resolution. He thinks that might be a huge help to her."
The former couple ended suddenly after dating from 1998 to 2002. Reports surface that they broke up after Justin learned Britney had been unfaithful with a mutual friend.
