Justin Timberlake treated guests to old family recipes at the launch of his new restaurant Southern Hospitality.

The 'SexyBack' singer was joined by stars including Jay-Z, Lance Bass, Seth Green, and 'Sopranos' actress Jamie-Lynn Siegler at the New York eatery on Wednesday night.

Justin said: "They are original family recipes and some of my grandma's desserts. We had to negotiate on which ones she was willing to give up."

"My favorite thing on the menu is fried green tomatoes and pulled pork."

The 26-year-old singer co-hosted the event with friends and co-owners Trace Ayala and Eytan Sugarman, and was joined by his grandparents at the opening of the barbeque restaurant.

Justin's new girlfriend Jessica Biel joined him at the launch, but only after dining at Italian restaurant Scalinatella, following the New York premiere of her new movie 'I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.'

Southern Hospitality's Memphis-style, calorie-laden menu includes spare ribs, homemade buttermilk biscuits, crab and corn fritters, 'The Best Pulled Pork Sandwich in These Here Parts' and 'The 10oz So-hoss Burger.'

The Upper East Side restaurant has a homely style and is decorated with antiques bought in from Memphis flea markets.

Justin is also an investor in two other restaurants - Los Angeles' Asian-fusion eatery Chi and Italian restaurant Destino in New York.
