Julia Roberts Shocks With Hairy Pits And "Old" Dress

Julia Roberts caused a stir by greeting fans on Broadway wearing a seven-year-old dress.

The actress last wore the red sequined garment to the London premiere of "Notting Hill", in 1999, where she shocked onlookers by revealing her hairy armpits as she waved to the crowd.

Roberts slipped into the knee-length Vivienne Tam shift dress again last weekend to greet fans before her final performance in Broadway show "Three Days Of Rain".

Back in 1999, Roberts was dating actor Benjamin Bratt and revealed she didn't shave her armpits because he found it a "turn on".

The "Pretty Woman" star is now married to cameraman Danny Moder and the couple have 20-month-old twins, Phinnaeus and Hazel.

Her three month run at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theater was dogged by bad reviews.

However, fans jammed the theater to see Roberts in her farewell performance.

One fan said: "Julia could have read the alphabet and I would come to see her."
