Miley Cyrus has been given a recording studio for her birthday.

The 'Hannah Montana' star celebrated her 16th birthday at the American Music Awards (AMAs) on Sunday (11/23/08) and her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, was keen to make her day special by splashing out on a unique present.

Jordin Sparks wears a purity ring because she doesn't want to look like a "sl*t." The "American Idol" winner, who wears the band on her left ring finger to show she won't have sex before marriage, has spoken out against promiscuous teenagers.

She said: "I just have one thing to say about promise rings. It's not bad to wear a promise ring, because not everybody - guy or girl - wants to be a sl*t."
