Relations between Angelina Jolie and her estranged father Jon Voight have not improved.
The father and daughter have not been in contact since Oscar winning Voight claimed that his daughter, who once admitted to collecting knives and carrying a vile of her ex-husband's blood around her neck, had "severe emotional problems."
Since then, Jolie has cut her famous father out of her life, meaning her four children have no maternal grandfather.
Because of the conflict between Jolie and Voight, the 68-year-old star has not met his four grandchildren.
He told Radaronline, "I haven't been in touch with the kids and I would love to be spending time with them, that's all."
But despite talking about it, Voight wants people to... stop talking about it. He continued, "I have nothing to say, people want to make news out of everything. I don't want to bring attention to it again. It always hurts me when things are brought back to the fore that are distorted."
Jolie recently made some startling comments about her own biological child, Shiloh. While she disowned her father because of his words, the star likened her own daughter to a blob.
She told Britain's OK! magazine, "I think I feel so much more for Mad and Zee because they're survivors - they came through so much. Shiloh seemed privileged from the moment she was born. I have less inclination to feel for her. I met my other kids when they were six months old, they came with personality. A newborn really is this - yes, a blob! But now she's starting to have a personality. I'm conscious that I have to make sure I don't ignore her needs because I think the others are more vulnerable."
However, Jolie is now happy with the other men in her life, partner Brad Pitt and sons Maddox and Pax Thien.
In a twist, Pitt's former wife, Jennifer Aniston, was also estranged from a parent, her mother Nancy. Pitt, however, is close with all of his family in Missouri.
