Brad Pitt is one step closer to fulfilling his dream of becoming one big happy family with Angelina Jolie and her adopted children, Maddox and Zahara
A judge in Los Angeles granted Angelina's request to change the children's last name to Jolie-Pitt. The attorney for the actress told reporters outside of the court, "The court granted the name change."
Brad's soon-to-be children are Maddox Chivan, who is 4-years-old, and Zahara Marley who just celebrated her first birthday. The beautiful twosome are expecting a biological child this year.
Although Brad and Angelina did not attend the hearing themselves, the two may have to visit the courthouse anyway to apply for a marriage license. Insiders are sure that the lovers will make it official before the baby is born.
This will be Brad's second marriage, and Angelina's third. He divorced actress Jennifer Aniston after filming "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" with Angelina, but refutes the story that she had anything to do with the breakup. Angelina was married to actors Billy Bob Thornton and Jonny Lee Miller.
