Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer have split up. The 40-year-old actress was reportedly dumped by her musician boyfriend after she returned from her visit to the U.K. to promote new movie "Marley and Me."

A source said: "They had some disagreements and decided to not continue to see each other. Jennifer is moving on with her life like she always does. She seems happy."

Justin Timberlake says John Mayer is the love child of Macy Gray and a bear. Justin was about to launch into an impression of the "Gravity" singer when he likened John's vocal talents to a cross between Macy and a growling bear.

Appearing on the premiere of talk show "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," Justin - who is good friends with John - said: "I imitate stars because I love them. How would I describe John Mayer? He sounds like if Macy Gray and Smokey Robinson, or actually, Smokey the Bear had a love child."

John Mayer voted for himself in an online poll asking whether Jennifer Aniston should stay with him.

The 'Gravity' singer - who has been dating the actress for around a year - couldn't resist having his say when he saw a U.S. website asking "Is John Mayer a Keeper?"

Jennifer Aniston insists she wouldn't win movie roles if she ate burgers. The "Marley and Me" actress claims watching her weight is part of her job, adding she knows she is often offered parts because of her slender frame.

She said: "I'm a realist. I know that if I eat nothing but burgers and chips, I'm not going to be hired for the parts I normally would. That might be fine one day, but not right now."

John Mayer thinks Britney Spears is "strange". The "Your Body is a Wonderland" singer - who has been dating actress Jennifer Aniston for the past year - would never perform a duet with Britney because he doesn't understand her songs.

He said: "I was just talking the other day about how strange the Britney Spears songwriting approach is. Because it's all about, 'I'm going out tonight, but nobody look at me.'"

Jennifer Aniston is taking John Mayer to the Oscars. The 31-year-old musician is excited about accompanying his girlfriend to the glittering event on Sunday, in a rare public appearance together.

John said: "It's my first Oscars. And it's my first being an Oscar boyfriend."
