If we ever see Jennifer Lopez win an Oscar (which most likely won't happen), it will be thanks to the woman who knows it best.

Once upon a time Jennifer Lopez was having a hard time figuring out what movie roles she should take on. Since she couldn't make up her mind, she turned to the legendary star of showbiz - Barbra Streisand.

Given her booty shakin' ways, we wouldn't ordinarily think J.Lo is a big fan of Babs, who usually possesses a calm and steady demeanor. But I guess you learn something new every day.

The Latina star recently said that she's always admired the fabulous diva. And two years ago, when J.Lo was scratching her head on what movie script to accept, Babs suddenly came to her rescue and offered her valuable advice.

According to breakingnews.iol.ie, she explained, "I love her and I have the utmost respect for her as being strong and having survived in this business. A few years ago I sent her two scripts because I wanted to work with her. When she called back, I was too starstruck to talk to her, so my manager took the call. And you know what she told him? 'Jennifer's too good for these.' It helped me rethink my whole career."

She added, "Since then, I've only done projects I've loved doing."
