Now that she is on the A-list, Jennifer Hudson is discovering the bad side of fame.
The Oscar winning star has been labeled a diva for her post award behavior and she is not impressed with the title.
She told Tom Joyner on the "The Tom Joyner Morning Show" that her refusal to credit "American Idol" with her success is backfiring. She said, "It's like everything I say referring to the show gets twisted around and makes me look like I'm being arrogant and a diva."
"Idol" host Simon Cowell has lashed out at Hudson, saying she should be more appreciative of her break on the talent show.
Hudson's name was further tarnished when it was reported that she refused to attend the Soul Train awards. However, the star insists she was one of the only recipients who turned up to the ceremony.
She said, "Why would they dog me out after I was one of the only people to show up on the show?"
