Hunky Nick Lachey and his dim-witted estranged wifey, Jessica Simpson wound up at the same restaurant recently according to patrons at the eatery.

Nick showed up at the Valley Inn Restaurant & Bar in Sherman Oaks, CA where Jessica was dining with baby sis Ashlee, and her parents.

An insider to the Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey debacle claims that Jessica has been treating Nick to late night phone calls trying to get him back.

Jessica was the one that filed for divorce from Nick, so it was a bolt from the blue when she started calling, according to the friend.

Justin Berfield, who plays Reese on the FOX show "Malcolm In The Middle," has just purchased the phat home that was one of the stars of Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson's MTV reality show, "Newlyweds."

The house just went on the market and Berfield wasted no time in getting his bid in. It was listed at $3.75 million and is located in sunny California.

Rumor has it that former 98 Degrees singer and ex-hubby to Jessica Simpson, Nick Lachey recently filed a burglary report with the Miami Beach Police Department claiming he was watching football in a cabana at the Delano, took off his $30,000 Breitling watch, placed it in a gym bag, went swimming (it keeps getting worse), and returned an hour later to find the watch was gone.

Maybe Jessica's infamous 'intelligence' rubbed off on Nick. When the police department contacted Lachey for more information, he insisted that his assistant was supposed to call...turns out, he "found the watch in his luggage."

Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson have put their house up for sale according to People magazine. The home was their illustrious dwelling place during the run of their infamous MTV show, "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica."

The Mediterranean-style home boasts 6,500 square feet which includes five-bedrooms, an infinity pool, a screening room, and a music studio. The house is being listed by Kay Cole of Sotheby's International for $3.75 million, says a friend of Lachey's.
