Jessica Simpson is hurting fat people, according to a lawsuit filed against the singer/actress by a fitness video company.
Speedfit owner Alex Astilean claims that the blonde singer and her dad/manager Joe had signed a multi-million dollar contract with the company for endorsement of their product. Jessica had already recorded a workout tape shortly before shooting her film 'The Dukes of Hazzard' in 2005. But then Jessica changed her mind and Joe banned the release of the tape.
Speedfit is now suing Joe for failing to secure the $10 million payment from Jessica last year.
"They are hurting millions of fat people in America!" Usmagazine.com has quoted Astilean as saying. "I believe that very strongly - they held the video for years!"
In reply, Jessica's publicist tells The New York Post: "It's a legal matter that's in the hands of attorneys."
