Rumor has it that Jessica Simpson is all set to detonate because of her soon-to-be ex-hubby Nick Lachey's partying.
According to insiders, she vows that she will never speak to him again. Sources say that Jessica is still angry over pictures of Nick doing his thing with different women including Cheryl Burke from "Dancing With The Stars," Alyssa Milano, and Kristin Cavalleri.
A friend reveals, "Jessica is so angry and seems to be full of hatred toward Nick right now that she doesn't care to see or speak to him again. She was ready to accept Nick finding one girl to date, but not 50!"
Meanwhile, to keep her mind off of her ex, Jessica is desperate to play the female lead in Jackie Collins' latest novel, Lovers & Players.
Jessica is rumored to have inquired about the book being developed into a movie. "She's read the book several times. She loves it so much because it's so steamy and sleazy and fun," a source says.
This latest novel is about a billionaire, his three sons and a 19-year-old waitress and aspiring singer named Liberty. Jessica thinks Liberty's role "is perfect for her," the source says. "Jessica feels this part will showcase both her sexiness and her serious-actress side."
