Jessica Simpson, pop singer and former reality show star, announced on her website early Wednesday that she will be headed to Kuwait to entertain the troops, but later in the day the message changed.
In an online message to her fans on the section of her site called Jessica's corner, she posted, "Hey ya'll. I just wanted to say hi, and let you know that I am hard at work on my country record, and I can't wait to share it [with] all of you. I am heading to Kuwait to do a show for the troops, then back in the studio. I love you all and am so blessed by the support and love you show me everyday!! xoxo jess."
Later in the afternoon the statement was changed and the line about heading to Kuwait was deleted. Even the Associated Press was announcing that the event would be broadcast on MySpace and US Weekly was stating that the show would take place on March 10.
The 27-year-old singer, formerly married to Nick Lachey, has been dating Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Tony Romo. Hmmm...maybe Tony had other ideas of an ideal vacation spot.
