Jim Carrey says his latest film, 'A Christmas Carol', mirrors his own journey out of depression.

The 'Ace Ventura: Pet Detective' actor - who has suffered from the mood disorder since 1994 and admitted to taking prescription drugs - said starring in the heartwarming traditional festive tale helped him to find perspective on his own life.

Jenny McCarthy wanted her son to die. The blonde actress hit "rock bottom" when seven-year-old Evan, who suffers from autism, was given medication which kept him awake for four days. He suffered hallucinations and would bang his head against a bed until he bled.

Jenny was so devastated by what was happening to her beloved boy, she thought it would be best if he died so he wouldn't be in anymore pain.

Jim Carrey is going to be a grandfather. The "Yes Man" star has confirmed his 21-year-old daughter Jane is expecting her first child with fiance Alex 'Nitro' Santana.

The 47-year-old actor said: "I am very excited. Jane is going to be a great mom."
