Jennifer Love Hewitt has denied she is engaged. The actress was believed to have gotten betrothed after her 'Ghost Whisperer' co-star Jamie Kennedy proposed live on stage at California's Laugh Factory last weekend, but the marriage rumors have been dismissed.

Jennifer's representative said: "There is no truth to the report."

The "Ghost Whisperer" actress - who began dating her co-star earlier this year - was thrilled when the actor spontaneously got down on one knee and proposed during his performance at California's Laugh Factory in Long Beach on Saturday night.

Comedian Jamie had been performing for over two hours when he asked Jennifer to join him on stage and the audience convinced him to propose.

She told radio program 104.7 FM's Johnjay and Rich Show: "A timeline? By this time next year, if we're not planning something, then there's a situation."
