Police investigating Jennifer Hudson's missing nephew have found the body of an African-American boy.

The body, which is yet to be identified, was found in a white SUV (sports utility vehicle) vehicle - believed to be the Chevrolet police were hunting in relation to seven-year-old Julian King - 14 miles from the Chicago property where Jennifer's mother Darnell Donerson, 57, and brother Jason Hudson, 29, were shot dead on Friday.

Jennifer Hudson has offered a $100,000 reward for the safe return of her missing nephew.

Seven-year-old Julian King was missing from the scene where the bodies of the "Dreamgirls" star's mother Darnell Donerson, 57, and brother Jason Hudson, 29, were found in Chicago and the actress-and-singer has appealed for help in locating his whereabouts.

Jennifer Hudson named her dogs after her awards. The "Dreamgirls" star christened her pooches in honor of the trophies she has won as both an actress and singer.

She explained: "The boy's called Oscar and the girl is Grammy - and I called their puppies after other awards I won like Golden Globe, Sag, and another is called Bafta."

Jennifer Hudson is engaged to her boyfriend David Otunga. A representative for the "Dreamgirls" star confirmed David, who has been dating Jennifer for less than a year, proposed on the star's 27th birthday on September 12.

The spokesperson said: "I can confirm that Jennifer got engaged to her boyfriend David on Friday night in Los Angeles."
