Jennifer Garner was hospitalized twice with heat exhaustion while filming her latest movie.

The 'Alias' star collapsed while filming 'The Kingdom' in the Arizona desert in temperatures of 140 degrees Fahrenheit last year. Jennifer was still nursing her daughter Violet, then eight-months-old, and her system got all "screwed up."

Jennifer, 35, told 'Access Hollywood': "I succumbed to the heat a couple times. I was still breast feeding my baby and everything your body needs, all the electrolytes goes to the baby, and so my system was all screwed up and I had heat stroke. And that happened to me twice."

"They gave me an I.V. and filled me back up and sent me back out!"

When the '13 Going On 30' star's husband Ben Affleck heard she had collapsed he flew straight out to be with her.

Jennifer said: "He actually was at the wrap party for his movie which he directed 'Gone Baby Gone', and he gets this call - it was just like, 'I don't feel good!'"

"He got right on a plane and he came that minute."

Jennifer plays a government agent in action film 'The Kingdom' which though filmed in the Arizona desert is actually set in Saudi Arabia. The movie also stars Jamie Foxx, Chris Cooper and Jason Bateman.
