Jennifer Aniston says shooting a cameo appearance for "30 Rock" was "awesome". The former "Friends" actress - who stars as a "free-spirited stalker" in the one-off episode of the hit U.S. sitcom - was thrilled to land a role on the show, and described cast members including Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey as "stellar".

Jennifer said: "It was awesome, really, really fun, and the cast are stellar."

The 39-year-old actress - who was at the Toronto International Film Festival to promote her new movie "Management" - also spoke about her involvement in the Stand Up to Cancer fundraising telethon.

Jennifer, who helped raise over $100 million for cancer research through the benefit show, said: "We have opportunities. You have to be very careful. You have to be very specific where you use the power of your celebrity."

Stand Up To Cancer is an initiative of the Entertainment Industry Foundation which calls on the showbiz world to help fight cancer.

Other stars who took part in the television special included Lance Armstrong, Salma Hayek, Meryl Streep, Forest Whitaker, Reese Witherspoon and Christina Applegate - who revealed earlier this year she had beaten breast cancer.
