Rap mogul Jay-Z has opened up about why he never publicly confirmed his marriage in an interview with Vibe magazine as he graces its double issue cover.
For the magazine's 15th Anniversary Juice Issue this September, the hip-hop artist appears on the two unique cover photos of the month's double issue.
Jay-Z was presented 15 questions about him, one of it pertaining to his not-so-secret marriage to longtime girlfriend Beyonce Knowles in April.
Although enough evidence was gathered, neither bride nor groom has ever confirmed nor talked about the nuptials. For the "Kingdom Come" hitmaker, it was something he just wanted to keep to himself.
He said, "I just think it's really a part of your life that you gotta keep to yourself... You have to have something sacred to you and the people around you..."
"I shared so much of my life, my childhood, and my family, the death of my nephew with the world. I should have something to hold onto."
