Jamie Lynn Spears' alleged paparazzo stalker has been arrested after she and fiancé Casey Aldridge filed a complaint claiming harassment.

Edwin Merrino was arrested Tuesday in Mississippi and was released later after posting $1,096 bond. He denies harassing the duo claiming he was at least 200 feet away from them when he was arrested while trying to take their pictures.

He tells the Associated Press, "I just think since I was the only one there, it was just easier for them to single me out."

"The one picture I got was kind of by luck. I got lucky when I saw them at Wal-Mart when I was buying deodorant."

He is scheduled to appear in court on June 8.

Spears, 17, is said to be giving birth at the end of June or early July.
