Jamie Lynn Spears looks happy and healthy with her newborn daughter talking about her "perfect" pregnancy in a new magazine cover. There's only one thing missing - isn't she just 17?
OK! magazine has just unveiled their new feature story, with the teenage new mom and her barely month-old Maddie Briann Aldridge on the cover. In an interview with the publication, Spears talks about her three to four-hour labor, her "perfect pregnancy and perfect delivery," and her blessed life with Maddie and her boyfriend Casey Aldridge.
While one might be glad to know that motherhood appears to agree with the teen star, you can't help shake the feeling that it all seems so wrong. The magazine seems to have just glamorized teenage motherhood to the readers.
One point in mind, the subtitle reads: "Being a mom is the best feeling in the world!" Not saying that that's completely wrong, but hearing that from a minor, one might think that being pregnant around that age is a trend every teenager must aspire to get in.
The former "Zoey 101" star has given the impression that she's content with her new life, even saying "I love routines," referring to her baby care schedule. She sounds more like a Stepford wife than a teenager living a normal life.
Spears, who announced her pregnancy late last year when she was just 16, appears with her new family on the new issue of the magazine.
